What is ZeroPhoto.Net?
A small photography site for digital images by Ian Dean, a current Ringling School of Art & Design student.
How are the images made?
All current images are imported RAW files, usually worked in Photoshop CS2 and then saved in JPG files for the web.
How do I get more information about this place?
Click on 'About' or 'Contact' to talk to the photographer. You can also go to his main site, Valice.net.
Can I post my own images here?
Yes. Simply register, and you can create and maintain your own gallery, which will be inside 'User Galleries'. You can then share your images with anyone you want. Note that there are size limits in place. Registering also allows you to keep favorites, rate, and post comments.
How do I post my own images?
After you register, you will have options to create and modify you own albums. Then you can upload images to your album or albums by clicking 'Upload File'.
How Should I save my Images?
As JPGs. No animations (flash or GIF) will work on this site. You should make your larger axis no larger than 600 pixels. This is a good web size, as it protects your images and allows them to load quickly.
Why use this site instead of Valice.net's gallery?
This site is more focused on professional photography. Snapshots and drawn art can be hosted at Valice.net. Also, ZeroPhoto is designed for simplicity so that other photographers can quickly find images.
What kind of photographs should I upload? What kind of camera do I need?
You can use any camera. This is not the place to upload snapshots (quick pictures of events, friends, family, etc). Images should have some preperation time, digital working, and look at least somewhat professional. Photos manipulated in Photoshop should still look like photographs to some degree.
